Main responsibilities include:

• Improve and maintain data governance and data quality framework.
• Lead cross-functional data governance and data quality activities with the business (sales and finance), IT (business applications, business intelligence) and other key stakeholders and ensure a common understanding of related business requirements and priorities.
• Develop and deploy related policies, procedures, business rules.
• Oversee the progressive implementation of data governance, ensure adherence to applicable policies, practices, standards and business rules.
• Constructively challenge requirements and propose value-added solutions in order to meet the objectives.
• Develop and maintain data flows between the scope systems.
• Identify issues and recommend remedial actions for internal systems or processes.
• Prepare periodic data quality checks and variance analysis and reporting, present the outcomes.

Personality requirements and skills

• At least 4 years of work experience in a similar position.
• Experience in data governance and/or data quality projects.
• Experience with enterprise data reporting, CRM and ERP systems and processes.
• Strong communication skills, ability to listen and serve as a mediator.
• Anticipates and solves business issues, works efficiently.
• Always keen to learn new skills.
• Can analyze information, think critically and make decisions.
• Motivated to seek information needed to fill data gaps by building relationships, doing research.
• Fluent English with ability to summarize information for senior management.
• Resistance to risks, ability to keep the focus and drive progress.
• Previous experience from IT industry is a plus.
• Experience in these areas is a plus: MS Excel, MS SQL (at least writing SQL queries), QlikSense, Master data services, Python, Sparx Enterprise Architect.
