The Channel Mkt Analyst is responsible for developing the marketing and investment plans with the Wholesalers and main Partners in Mexico, generating demand and channel recruitment actions.Job description
Responsibilities and Duties
• To design the Marketing Plan for Mexico, together with the regional Marketing Manager, the Country Manager and the Marketing Analyst, ensuring its annual execution, detecting deviations and proposing corrective actions. To manage the available budget according to this Plan without exceeding it, except by explicit agreement with the aforementioned stakeholders.
• To monitor, tropicalize and execute the global and regional strategy for launching new solutions and services, as well as versions and minor versions, with the aim of adapting them correctly to the current situation and the local market.
• To ensure the Partners and Wholesalers are aligned to ESET's business strategy for the Mexican market, receiving and evaluating the annual and quarterly Marketing Plans, as well as the investment requirements. To propose modifications and weekly monitor the agreed actions, as well as their results and metrics.
• To be in charge of reimbursing the MDFs claims monthly through the issue of a credit note, after the presentation of the request and the approval of the marketing activities that were carried out, and in compliance with the process for requesting marketing financial support from ESET.
• To design and implement campaigns in order to expand the market share of the Wholesalers' and Sub-Wholesalers' channels, increasing sales by recruiting new reseller channels.
• To analyze, together with each Distribution Channel Manager, the sales results of their Partners and Wholesalers, and generate Marketing actions based on these results to promote the achievement of the objectives.
• To work together with the Channel Managers to monitor the fulfillment of business objectives and metrics, accompanying them to the necessary meetings with Partners/Wholesalers.
• To detect possible actions and/or materials already implemented at ESET LATAM/HQ/offices that may serve to achieve the objectives of the distribution chain.
• To plan and coordinate the necessary projects for Partners and Wholesalers, mainly the development, launch and execution of the ESET Partner Program for demand purposes.
• To seek and develop, together with Wholesalers and Partners, alliances that enable the opening of new markets, segments and territories.
• To recruit and work with the Strategic Partners regarding territory coverage and demand generation.
• To analyze the actions of the competition in Mexico, together with the Marketing Specialist, detecting opportunities, threats and consequent weaknesses in prices, new products and different forms of commercialization. To provide timely and necessary feedback to the Sales Team in Mexico and the Marketing LATAM Team for the subsequent implementation of corrective actions and decision-making.
• To hold meetings, in collaboration with the Sales Area, to evaluate the progress of the Marketing Plans for each channel and present the results to the corresponding Management Teams.
• To comply with the Information Security Policies and Directives defined by the Company.
• To integrate ESET Latin America's values into every decision and day-to-day behavior, making them a pillar of the corporate culture and transmitting them in every task.
Requirements
Education
Complete university studies in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations and/or Administration.
Experience
• At least 3 years working experience in Marketing Areas working with Wholesalers, sales channels, Partners or commercial structures.
• Knowledge of Trade Marketing (retail) is desirable.
