At ESET, the IT & Business Systems team is responsible for monitoring the state-of-the-art physical and system infrastructure behind ESET’s best in class technology.Reporting to the IT & Business Systems Manager, APAC (based in Singapore), the Systems Support Specialist plays an integral part in supporting APAC colleagues (across 4 time zones – Singapore, Japan, India and Australia) for all their hardware, software and systems support needs.
Job description
What you will do:
Provides daily, first point of contact system support for internal APAC colleagues through tickets and walk-ups
Assists with translating technical work processes into easy to understand business systems functions
Creates, maintains, updates and distributes written documentation manuals for users.
Performs acceptance testing of new and/or modified business systems by developing test data; reviews output and evaluates systems.
Liaises with colleagues within the region and HQ in managing the life-cycle of corporate assets to ensure accurate inventory records
Install, configure, repair, replace and resolve technical issues for both hardware and software
Be the IT liaison for new hires, assist to create accounts and set up hardware for new hires

Job requirements
At least 2 years of relevant experience (Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineer or any other related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience. (Fresh grads also welcomed)
Excellent communication skills including the ability to translate technical information into basic understanding, and the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with a diversity of people at an individual and team level.
Previous experience with supporting CRM systems is highly advantageous
Good knowledge on Salesforce or Netsuite is highly advantageous
