Job summary

ESET is expanding its range of security management technologies, developing them as on-prem solutions and migrating them to the next-generation cloud-native platform. The ESET PROTECT team is developing a new generation of a security management console, enabling remote monitoring and orchestration of security product settings on thousands of computers and mobile devices.

Job description

We’re looking for a talented developer with a solid skill set to contribute to cross-platform projects (Windows, Linux, Cloud) who is willing to learn new technologies and programming languages. We are a team working with a modern tech stack (Golang, C++, Python, Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform, Azure Cloud). We foster a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where individuals can readily assume responsibility.

What we’re looking for:

Experience with microservice technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, Terraform) and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google) is an advantage
Experience in server programming and multithreading is an advantage
Competent at Golang (at least basic knowledge and motivation to learn)
Knowledge of the Linux operating system is an advantage
Experience with C++ or .NET is an advantage
Experience with databases is an advantage (SQL, NoSQL)
Ability and drive to learn new technologies
Strong team and communication skills
Good command of English

Responsibilities:

Develop features and capabilities to enhance our security management functionality.
Build and maintain scalable microservices to handle millions of user requests.
Collaborate with other development teams, quality engineering, and documentation teams.
Be part of an agile, self-organizing team that collectively defines the stack, architecture, development environment, and best practices.
Be creative and explore new solutions while remaining committed to code optimization, maintainability, and quality.
